Do not just use her. Keep her company.
Sagwa combines sensors, time, attention and four moods to decide what to do. Every interaction changes her behavior, not just her animation.
What Sagwa understands
| You… | Sagwa… |
|---|---|
| Bring your hand close to the screen | Wakes up, gets happy and purrs |
| Move your hand suddenly | Gets startled and jumps |
| Pick her up or tap the desk | Stands up; a strong shake startles her |
| Tilt the desk more than 20° | Keeps her balance on her feet |
| Turn on the light after darkness | Wakes up and stretches if she rested |
| Turn off the light | Gets ready to sleep soon after |
| Leave her alone for a while | Grooms, sleeps, walks, plays or calls if she gets bored |
| Send her a message | Announces it with the meow that matches its urgency |
| Double-tap | Shows the time, date, sensors and last known weather |
Five poses, continuous motion
The 22 animations start and end on shared poses: sleep, loaf, sit, stand and stalk. The clip graph avoids costly crossfades and preserves body continuity at 12 fps.

Four moods
Drops while she is awake and recovers during sleep.
Depends on local time and room light.
Grows without stimulation; playing, chatting and petting reduce it.
Rises with your attention and gradually decreases.
The planner avoids repeating recently visited poses. Rest, play and grooming periods change with these values.
She speaks cat
The voices come from real recordings. Each category has several takes and a slight pitch variation to keep them from sounding identical.
